Rue Costes et Bellonte Nice Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur
Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is a second busiest French airport after Paris, with 13.3 million passengers in 2017, 114 direct destinations and 56 scheduled airlines serving 40 countries. Besides Paris, it is also the only French airport to offer daily flights to New York, Doha and Dubai.
It was built on the area partially won over the sea and located on the extension of the Promenade des Anglais, along the Var river in the Arénas district. Its particular geographical location provides passengers with a spectacular landing along the coast of the French Riviera with a breath-taking view on the islands, bays, beaches, snow-capped mountains in winter, and the agglomeration with a fairy-tale view at night. The landing ends with a very-low altitude flight over the sea before finally touching the ground. The airport won the first place in PrivateFly 2014 among the most beautiful airports in the world from more than 200 destinations in competition.
